3 days in the Cotswold - Bourton on the water

Four miles from Stow-on-the-wold, Bourton on the water is a small village and a popular tourist hotspot in the Cotswold. There are a lot more attractions here, as you will see.

The Dragonfly Maze

One my favourite parts of the day was The Dragonfly Maze. Who doesn't like puzzles! The aim of the maze is to find the dragonfly hidden in the centre of the maze. To help you find the dragonfly, there are symbols dotted around the maze which you must figure out.

One of the clues in the maze

The Model Village

One-ninth scale replica of the village of Burton on the water containing all the buildings in the village. The Model Village was created by a landlord of the Old Inn and took five years to build, opening in 1937.The detail was incredible for example, tea rooms had tables and chairs and crockery in the windows.

Motor Museum

Calling motor enthusiasts! Vintage and classic cars, vans, motorcycles all under one roof. A few favourites include the original TV Brum car which was filmed at the museum.
